Cloudflare has introducted a fairly novel solution to this problem by combining their Cloudflare for Access offering protecting SaaS services with their Tunnels (formerly Argo) product to tunnel on-prem services to the Cloudflare Network.
A frequent conversation that happens when people come into my apartment shortly after they walk in: 'What is THAT!?' as they point at my server rack in the corner of my living room. I intent to cover what the rest of my homelab does and why I adore tinkering with it in a later post but I wanted to start with the piece of enterprise hardware that I got started with first: the networking.
I'm a data hoarder and I have a problem. My local storage infrastructure built on FreeNAS has been rock solid but unfortunately as my local capacity has grown, I had issues scaling an appropriate offsite backup. Today, I'm solving this.
